The Effect of Kongjindan Aqua-acupuncture on the CD4+ T cell count at al. in rats were administered with MTX

Abstract
This study was carried out to investigate the preventive effects of Kongjindan aqua-acupuncture on the depressin of the immune response induced by administration with MTX in rats.
Experimental groups were divided into 5 groups; Normal(None treated group), Control(MTX was adminstered in this group), Sample I (MTX and Kongjindan aqua-acupunctured was treated in this group at Kwanwon(CV4)), Sample II (MTX and Kongjindan aqua-acupunctured was treated in this group at Bisoo(BL20)), Sample III (MTX and Kongjindan aqua-acupuncture was treated in this group at non acupoints near the root of the tail). And we measured No. of Lymphocyte and CD4+ Tcell count in blood, spleen, bilateral axillary lymphnodes, thymus in rats.
The results was as follows;
1. The rate of decrease of body weight was decreased with the statistical signficamce in the sample I, II, and III groups as compared with the control group. And there was¢¥nt any significance between sample I group and II.
2. The Weight of Spleen was increased with the statistical significance in the sample I, II , and III groups as compared with the control group. And the sample I group was more increased with the statistical significance them the sample II group.
The Weight of bilateral Axillary Lymph nodes wasn¢¥t increased with the statistical significance in the sample I, II and III groups as compared with the control group.
The Weight of Thymus was increased with the statistical significance with sample I, II and III groups as compared with the control group And the sample I group was more increased with the statistical significance than the sample II groups.
3. The No. of Lymphocyte in blood was increased with the statistical significance in the sample I, II, and III groups as compared with the control group. And the sample I group was more increased with the statistical significance than the sample II group.
4. The Blood CD4+ T cell count was increased with the statustical significance in the sample I and II groups as compared with the control group. And there was¢¥nt any significance between sample I group and II.
5. The No. of Lymphocyte in Spleen was increased with the statistical significance in the sample I and II groups as compared with the control group. And the sample II group were more increased with the statistical significance than the Sample I group.
6. The Spleen CD4+ T cell count was increased with the statistical significance in the sample I and II groups as compared with the control group. And there was¢¥nt any significance between sample I group and II.
7. The No. of Lymphocyte in Axillary Lymph node was increased with the statistical significance in the sampie I and II groups as compared with the control group. And there was¢¥nt any significance between sample I group and II.
8. The Axillary lymph node CD4+ T cell count was increased with the statistical significance in the sample I, II and III groups as compared with the control group. And the sample I group were more increased with the statustical significance than the Sample II group.
9. The No. of Lymphocyte in Thymus was increased with the statistical significance in the sample I, II and III groups as compared with the control group. And the sample II group was more increased with the statistical significance than the sample I group.
10. The Thymus CD4+ T cell count was increased with the statistical significance in the Sample I and II groups as compared with the control group. And there was¢¥nt any significance between sample I group and II.
